If you want a physically small subwoofer for a small room or as supplement to your media speakers, it is quite good. It's tiny but does a good job, able to produce a solid signal down to 27 Hz. However, it simply will not reach 23 Hz, publicized in is operation manual nor the 24 Hz advertised on their website.
Great compact, inexpensive powered subwoofer July 24, 2010
I needed to replace a subwoofer on my houseboat in the "theater". Definitive Tech makes great "value" speakers that are consistently of audiophile quality. For the price, you just can't beat this sub! Sure you can spend 2-3 times as much and beat the quality. But you will definitely like this sub.
